You Are Not Alone

Fertility treatment can be emotionally and practically challenging. Counselling gives you time and space to talk through how treatment might affect you, your partner, your wider family and any future children — and to make decisions that feel right for you.

What We Offer

You will be offered an appointment with an experienced fertility counsellor.

Counselling can help you:

  • Explore how treatment choices might affect you and your relationships now and in the future.
  • Think about how and when you might talk to a child about their origins.
  • Consider any worries about donor treatment, surrogacy, egg freezing or treatment abroad.

You can ask for counselling at any stage before, during or after treatment and you may choose to come alone or with your partner.

1

Before you start treatment

Explore how treatment choices might affect you emotionally and relationally.

2

During treatment

3

After treatment

Whether successful or not, counselling supports you through what comes next.

4

With a partner or alone

You may attend sessions individually or as a couple — whatever feels right for you.
